2004: Champions Three Times Over

On Sunday, Vita Inter became the 2004 Alford's Cup and Playoff Title Champions for a third straight year. Former Ernestown and Carleton star Rick Paudyn was dominant throughout the campaign and took home the league scoring title with 18 markers in 18 games, earning him the league MVP award as well. The team lost only 3 games in the league all season long, which was enough to put them in a strong second place position. The highlight of the season was a third straight victory in the Alford's Cup final in front of a packed house at Catons Two. This year the team faced the 1st place finishers Kelsey's in the final and overcame a strong team 4-3 in the final. Vita also won the playoffs, which culminated with 3-2 victory over an experienced Cataraqui II squad.
